Chromolithograph color plates and woodcuts; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 162 pages; 12 monthly issues of the youth magazine bound together in publisher's binding. Chromo color panel mounted to cover board, paper covered with green and yellow paper covered boards. Green quarter cloth backed spine;Cadbury Cocoa pictorial ad to rear board. Illustrated with 13 chromolithograph plates, one of which is mounted, not bound in. Boards rubbed and worn at edges with mild rounding and rub through at corners. Prior owner's apparent glue repair to the front inner hinge; loss of most of the front free blank endpage. Inner hinges weak, with crash showing in the hinge at rear. Fingering and handling wear to some pages. Mounted color plate has stresses the paper of the page to which it is mounted with chips and tear to the page edges but plate bright and complete. A sort of ratty copy but with color plates generally bright and neat. Also illustrated with woodcuts. Good only at best
